My car came with this originally. AM/FM cassette, 4 speakers, bose amps. I purchased a nice used head unit from another member here as mine was not functional. I sent all 4 of my amps to bose central and had them rebuilt. Now that its all back together, the rear speakers sound fantastic. Better than I would have ever expected, however it also seems like they do 80-90% of the work. Only when I fade almost all the way to the front can i hear anything from the kick panel speakers when seated in a normal driving position. Does this seem right? If not, what else could be wrong? The speakers did not appear to have any obvious damage, and when I fade front and listen to them they sound ok. I really would like to keep this system, I am satisfied with fm radio and cassettes when driving this car but i would like a more balanced sound. Thanks
