I would say no more then a 6.
It is just my opinion, I dont
like them. I think the stamped steel
makes for a cheesy cheap looking bazzar design.

But you are also only describing their entry level stuff. They make everything from $50 subs to $3500 dollar subs. They just want to make sure they have the market covered. Yes, I think it was a mistake to introduce their cheap stuff first, because now everyone associates their name on the level of Jensen and Rockwood and other junk like that.

It just depends on how much you are willing to spend. Dallas, have you ever listened to/had experience with/looked at anything other than their entry level equipment? I had a set of thier flat piston subs, and I wouldn't even put cheap and them in the same sentence. It all comes down to preferences though.

There is a shop here that pushes Audiobahn on everyone.
They have a Suburban with 10 15" audiobahn AWT15 subs, and while it is loud, very loud I just do not like it. I guess maybe I am just too comfortable with older brands. I am all for some at home USA company's making it big, but for the people like Audiobahn that are just trying to make a buck hitting the entire line, by going down to a jensen level I just feel that quality is being sacrificed here. I dont see any PPI's at a Rockwood level. Sorry this is just my opinion.

Well, and that is where they made a mistake, but if they can offer some semi-decent equipment at a good price, they are helping your average joe, right? I mean, there can't be much profit in the low end stuff. The profit is in the high dollar items that you and I are buying.

Of course, there are 2 approaches to this. They could be like Rockford Fosgate and start with the really high-end stuff and charge a lot of money, and then through the years charge the same amount of money, but make a crappier product. I think they're doing a good thing, but shooting themselves in the foot as well. I mean, I know that if I bought $5000 in Audiobahn equipment and some joker down the street bought 2 cheaper tens, I wouldn't want everyone to know that we had the same stuff.

Basically what it boils down to is opinion and preference.
