Aux or Bluetooth radio.

I’m interested if anyone can add a aux port or Bluetooth to my factory delco radio in my 89 firebird. Maybe also an rca output not necessarily but would prefer cause I want to put an amp in the car later in the year and would rather have it built in. - thanks

Re: Aux or Bluetooth radio.

It's possible. I have a late 90s Pontiac stereo that has an aux jack added. I likely bought it off eBay, but can't remember for sure.

Re: Aux or Bluetooth radio.

I have a factory delco UT4 radio with an aux port installed that I'm looking to sell, got it from a reputable guy on this forum. It worked fine but I just preferred the ease of single din aftermarket kenwoods with bluetooth.

Re: Aux or Bluetooth radio.

John in RI does a lot of the Delco radio stuff.
He got mine working again and put a Aux in.
Highly recommended !

Re: Aux or Bluetooth radio.

Honestly you could just buy one of these and tune into your radio via the cigarette lighter it will transmit blue tooth to what station you select on your radio.
Now if you want to hide this you could add/run a 2nd cigarette lighter with a 2-foot cord. Then plugged into your blue tooth below and hide it behind the radio open in the back under the dash where its easy to pull out and push back in.
Blue Arrow Marks The Spot!
That's what I'm Doing I'm keeping my OE AM FM rebuilt factory tape deck.
(Scroll down a cheaper option or temporary solution)

Push it back up there either side.

Good Luck!
