I took a look at those on the kicker website. I think those might need a huge enclosure to sound right- according to WinISD, about 11ft^3. Obviously, they'll still sound allright in a smaller enclosure, but you'll still need around 5 ft^3 or so.
Anyone else?

It seems all the manufacturers claim the "one cubic foot" thing. The results I got from WinISD were for 2 subs. I don't totally rely on WinISD, though, It's sort of just a baseline to start with. What about the JL 12W0's for just $20.00 more? I don't currently use JL products, but alot of people like them, for good reason.
Hope this helps,
Jeff

i had some kicker compvr 12s, and they do not need a huge enclosure, around 1foot or so, and for 150 for a pair, id say go for it, they pound on just a little bit of power
