How good are Pioneer 2 way 4x6s?

How good are Pioneer 2 way 4x6s?
I found some today that a guy will give me for $30, I was thinking of going to get them tomorrow considering I've never had any front speakers in my car and I'm really starting to get sick of it. Someone tell me if these are a good buy or just junk

I'm sure they're worth $30. I was never terribly impressed with most pioneer speakers, but i've certainly heard worse.
