Insurance for audio equipment?

Is there away to get audio equipment insured? I know mine isnt the best but when i get my car insured should i tell them that I have a system in my car?

dunno about below the 49th but up here we have the first $1,000 covered than after that were sheit outa luck. we can also buy additional coverage but i think its $100 bucks for every $1000 you have invested. i dont feel like paying another $900 bucks a year. just got to put word out that you'll break some knees if your stereo gets touched

in cali, u have to have radio specific coverage thru ur auto insurance for anything aftermarket. it already should cover replacement for a stock radio and speakers, if u have full coverage. the anything loose in the car (ie cds, nudie mags, 14" *****) is covered by ur home owners/renters insurance if "personal items" are covered.

I live in cali and i called my insurance and asked them because i see people were i live keep eyeing my car so i wanted to make sure im coverd they said as long as i have pictures they will cover it. I have full coverage my insurance is USAA
