Kicker ZR240 enough to power....
Kicker ZR240 enough to power....
I've built my own sealed enclosure to house a pair of Kicker S10L7's (10" solobaric's) and I was planning on having a single ZR240 power them but now I'm thinking that these subs have a huge power rating on them and this amp won't be enough to get the job done. Will it be sufficient? any suggestions? I'd like to stay with Kicker all around.

The subs can handle more, but when driving a 2 ohm bridged load (i.e. a pair of 4 ohm subs paralleled) those amps can deliver a TON of power. They have a different power supply than the 360 and 600, so running into 2 ohms bridged, they actually deliver as much power as the 360. Powerful, powerful amp, especially for $300. To me it's the best bargain out there for sub amps.

Jim is totally correct. The ZR240 will be enough to power the subs. The woofers can and will handle alot more in the proper vented enclosure. You can check out different enclosure recommendations on our website at www.kicker.com
Good luck!
