Is an eclipse a good amp? This place in Louisville is getting rid of them because they don't do enough tech support. And he recommended them to me mainly becuase of price. So should I go with them or not?

 

I've always been told that Eclipse is a good brand name. I haven't had any trouble with my head unit, and the only reason I didn't buy Eclipse speakers and amp is because I couldn't afford them after the head unit. I don't know any particulars about Eclipse stuff, so I can't help too much. Just my .02

Any good audio store carries the brand. Best thing to do would be to call around, and find your local authorized eclipse retailer.

Im not to familiar with their amps, but take a few mins to listen to their 12" aluminum woofers. After i heard them in person, they are all i can talk about. Im sure their amps are pretty good too.

Its my experience that most audio stores carry only a few brands and there are no brands in specific that dictate what "any good audio store" is....just struck me wrong i guess.

 

I love my speakers, and when i blew one pair up they replaced them with no hastles at all good service.
