Very few have heard them yet in order to compare, but the hype sure seems to be all around them. Time will tell. Pricing is expected to be somewhere around $750 each for the 13.5". I'm not sure if other sizes will be available or not.

I have heard focals.. I don't know what model/series they were.. but the guy at the shop was saying that they are excellent subs for low volume boxes(as in space, not audio volume.) the 10" focal I was listening too is supposed to be happiest w/ a .6-.75 cu. ft box!.. that's freakin small. I forget what kind of amp he had powering it.. but it sounded really good... they're just really damn expensive.

HEY, I have very limited exposure to FOCAL, BUT... I have had ALOT of experience with MB QUART, I LOVE THEM. True some people may say that their tweeter is to harsh but in my cases I just attenuate it slightly (-3DB) and take care of the rest with a slight EQ tweak at 16 khz, I would howerever stay away from Quart's "low end" lines I think for the money at that price point there are beter options, BUT there "reference" and "Q" lines are VERY nice, OR I think anyway...
