is my alarm crap?
its a viper and my problem is about every 4-5 days it will go off for what I think is no reason.I know they all do it,but it seems to be pretty consitent as to when it does.like I said almost ever 4-5 days after being on all the time.The car is rarely driven.I have noticed it seems to go off the day I do drive it or at 4:30 that next morning.Could it be sensing a current drain somewhere?I am electrical dum.I have turned the sensor all the way down to the point I can push the side of the car and it wont go off.or maybe its just cheap.alls i know is that its a viper and cost like $70.thanks

Viper is the second line down in DEI's product line. Just below Python.
They are very good alarms from a very good manufacturer. I would take it to a highly qualified alarm installer/tech to have them diagnose it. It may be a failing sensor or pin somewhere. Honestly you'd need to try to narrow it down to exact details.
Do not trust just any car audio installer who may also install alarms, find someone who is reputable. You may want to contact DEI and find out who in your area is certified on their products.
Just an idea where to start.

I know this is no help but, the butthole paper boy was hitting mine about every 3-4 days and setting it off at about 4:30 in the morning. I caught his little a$$ and put a stop to it.

rs92,.Its has been two sundays in a row.and I know my paper comes real early these days,That would suck for him wouldnt it?A camera will find that out quick.Im gonna take it to someone but the directions were pretty clear.Its weird it happens around the same time,never during the day when it sits either.
