The reason i ask is because i have a vega 12 and i have blown it 4 time in about 4 months and i can trade it in for a HE2.. I was wonder which one hits harder and close they are to each other .. Any info will help thanks.

I'd take the vega. I'm not impressed with the sound of the HE2s and I'd bet the Vegas will play a LOT louder. The Vegas have a 10db higher sensitivity, so with any given amount of power, they're going to be a LOT louder. I'm also quite fond of the sound of the 12" vegas. The only drawback is that they need a huge box.

I would go for the Vega. I havent seen any impressive Rockford subs in my life.

 

Which Vega? The HED series i think are about even with the RF's but if its the Vega-Vega kinda like with the orange surround, then definately that. As long as its in the right box theres no comparing the sound.
