Yea Yea Another Cap Question...
ok for now i am taking out all my equipment to get it ready for the big install next month, what is the proper way to discharge and power from a cap that i am going to use later on in the future?

Use a test light across the two terminals until the light goes out.

You know, one of those lights with the wires running out of it that you use to check if a circuit is complete and/or that there is a current. As long as the light stays lit, there is still a charge in the cap. When it goes out: no more current and the cap is safe to store.
