Subwoofer - Infinity or Bazooka?

I'm looking for a tube/box type sub for the rear trunk well. Haven't decided yet between active or passive. What do you guys think of these options:

Infinity Basslink box, self-powered, 10", 20-100Hz, 70-100Hz crossover, 200W, $270

Bazooka tube, self-powered, 10", 39-250Hz, 60-250Hz crossover, 150W, $250

Bazooka tube, passive, 10", 39-1000Hz, 500W (2x250W), and Bazooka EL2150 amp, 2x150W, total $380

Right now I have an 8" Radio Shack tube, 100W, that I paid $60 for about 7 years ago. It sounds OK for what it is and what I paid for it, but I think any of the above will be an improvement. I'm kind of partial to the self-powered subs since I've never worked with external amps before, and it's less expensive. But I'd consider the passive sub w/ amp if it's a world of difference and worth the extra cost.

I'd be running this with Infinity Kappa or Boston Acoustics speakers in the stock locations, run off the head unit. The head unit I'm looking at has a line-level subwoofer output, and I'd like to be able to control the sub this way. So the ability to use the above subs with a line-level head unit output is also a consideration.

What do you guys recommend?

Thanks!

$300 (and especially $380) could get you a decent sub and amp, if you do your own install and build your box. Depending on your choices, it may actually be cheaper to go that route.

Well, I want something that fits nicely in the trunk well, won't be hurt by luggage sitting on top of and around it, won't interfere with t-top storage, and can be removed quickly when I need the space more than the bass. My RS tube has worked well for this application. I put velcro on the feet instead of bolting it down, and it keeps it in place on the carpet. I also clipped the wires and put quick disconnects on the ends, so it's pretty much plug-n-play. I just assumed that a woofer box wouldn't be as suitable for being moved around so much.

I've got a convertible and trunk space is a very expensive piece of real estate.

Between Bazooka and infinity....

From what I've heard and read the infinity beats the bazooka hands down in price and sound quality if you compare two like items.

Your prices are kinda high though.
You can get the Basslink on Ebay for $216.00 + ship all day long on ebay.
And these are brand new units!!

Currently I have a 12" Fosgate sub in a custom box I built that I managed to fit in the trunk area.

It hits pretty hard and I have all the bass I could possibly want, but I'm going to purchase a basslink in the future to regain my trunk space back.

I'm running infinity Kappa speakers in the car right now and i'm VERY pleased with the sound quality.

Do some research on the bazooka by going to http://carreview.com

They don't have any reviews on the basslink the last time I checked.
