Looking good Mike!
I was looking at phase1 a few weeks ago all the wires scared the crap out of me! But since you know what your doing I wish you the best of luck!
SSC
------------------
85 Camaro, 355/400 "drag car" in moth ***** 13.1@ 101mph on its last season run.
Plans: Possibly add N20 for next season.
82 Firebird, 305/350 currently moth balled.
Current plans: Rebuild 305 with flat tops instead of the dished "cups" for pistons or slightly built 327 with the 58cc heads from the LG4, Upgrade the 2:73 to 3:73 or 3:42 and replace the turbo 350 with 700r4.

That radio trim ring is very impressive. I wish that the Camaro used a flat style trim plate like that so I could do the same. With the Camaro, the deep recesses really limit your customization options if you want to maintain a stock appearance. I could do something similar to that on my GTA, but Pontiac used that goofy grid pattern and I have no idea how to replicate it.
Anyway, enough of my rant. The install is looking fantastic!

thanks jim,
yeah, I had that grid pattern on my 91 bird, just used a standard GM kit on that one.
I actually think the 3rd gen camaro, with it's deep recess, doesn't look too bad with a 1 din in a flush mount kit.
I accidently made the opening just a tad too big, so I need to fill it in a little more with more epoxy, and then resand. I will not be a standard din opening, but will meet up perfectly (I hope) with the faceplate of my 7949, I cut a little more off then needed for the flip down to clear, and I have a pretty big gap.
