Help me out here...

I'm installing my new head unit into my 88 S10 and have a couple of questions..
1, The constant 12v power wire (Yellow) and switched 12v lead in the dash. Do I put them together and connect the Yellow power wire from head unit?
2, The switched power lead, What colour is it? and what do i do whith it?
3, I'll gound the black wire first..

This is my first time so go easy on me. I just want to get power to the head unit first, and then i'll figure out the R,L,F,B speakers..

Thanks!!!

The yellow wire goes to a constant 12v source with the ignition off(like cig lighter or fuse box) The red wire(switched) goes to a switched 12v wire, so when you turn on the ignition it will have 12v, but have no volts when the ignition is off. Dont hook the yellow and red wire together because you will not have memory for the clock and preset radio stations. Hope this helps
