Most of what I listen to is the "cheesy" 80's pop; but there are some songs that have a bit of bass like the escape club's Wild Wild West

I will have to second CrashTestDummie's
G0d Shuffled His Feet; but their album Give Yourself a Hand is way better for bass

I Know, compared to most of you my music is lame but it's me & thats why I like it :P

I don't think it makes a difference what kind of music it is. It just has to be the music you like to listen to, and it has to bang!
You ask my girl this question and she'll tell you ricky martin maria. I don't like it much myself but it does have bass.

And you can't forget LL Cool J, "Cars that be bumpin'".

I made some bass songs on my own that are just the bass lines from songs like the "Knight Rider" theme, "Play that funky Music White Boy",.....

OH OH!!!!!!!!! Who it the hell could forget "JAM ON IT!!!" by Nucleus??????

Anyone who is too young to have heard that song is still suckin' on mommy's boobie. That song still has massive bass!!!!!

Dr. Dre's original Chronic and Chronic 2001. Many songs on those CDs hit really hard. Some of Eminem's songs hit hard as well.

All right, all right there is no reggae represented here. There is a song I don't know the artist, but the song is "action." I also dug up "bass the final frontier" it has a song feel the bass." Great bass!

About 2 wks ago I downloaded "Boogie Down Bronx" by Man Parish.

I also dug Prince "Seven".
"Oh seven and you watch them fall
They're standing in the way and we will smoke them all"

That and Billy Idol "Prodical Son". That song still kicks major butt!!!!!

Heres some good raggae...but some may not know of the songs..they are by Sean Paul, Buju Banton, etc....I figured I was the only one on here who liked raggae...well here they are...

1. Boom bye bye
2. Hot Sexy Punkie
3. Bad Man Nuh flee
4. Here comes the boom
5. Let him go
6. Ol' Dawg
7. Living Dangerously
8. Murderer(old school)
9. Why dem girls
10. Nah Get no bligh
11. Flex

If you dont have these songs...I suggest you d/l them...especially if you are into raggae. I know they are not the mainstream songs...but IMHO they are much better. Plus they sound great on Infinity Perfects and References.

ok..
put in NIN, the fragile.. play "I'm looking forward to joinning you".. let it play.. feel the fuc|<ing pressure in your car build up as the bass gets LOW.. not an exciting song tho.. here's another. "Somewhat Damaged" by NIN again (i'm a NIN freak) so anyways.. crank it up.. here the taping of the drungs and weird *** sounds.. then it hits you hard like a hammer in back of the head when the bass hits.."where is everybody".. but lotsa disortion.. "we're in this together".. starts off low.. goes up.. then just rattles after anther breif pause..
lots of Marilyn Manson has bass in it.. check out any of his "last tour on earth" songs (the live cd)

I think was Sine Sweep 20khz-20hz.

Yep, that's pretty vicious, isn't it Feel the Music and Cruzin' are good thumpers as well.
Some other artists/songs would be Young MC - Bust a Move and Billy Joel - It's Still Rock 'n Roll To Me

Hey Vinroc, here's some that will make you say, "Well, at least I'm not as old as that guy!"

Roy Orbison-In Dreams
Roy Orbison-Blue Angel
Roy Orbison-Blue Bayou
Rush-Tom Sawyer

Albums:
Saliva-Every Six Seconds
Metallica-S&M
Public Image Ltd-9

One really good thing is if you pull in to a classic car show with Roy Orbison eminating from your car rather than Snoop Doggy Dogg or Iron Maiden the older gents and ladies there will be more likely to talk to ya. Wonder how I found that one out???

See ya,

ok, I got a few here, Garbage. icp and twisted - Blam, white zombie - more human than human remix, stabbing westward, Orgy, nin (anything off of the fragile), massive attack, Konflict, icp (anything they all have bass), dune, daft punk, crystal method, corporate avenger, oh yes and lady marmalde (that song has lots and lots of lowend), bush, bloodhound gang, big pun - still not a player, apollo 440 - don't fear the reaper. just a few, and trust me I have an 18" kicker powered by a 500w jensen amp, and I CAN FEEL THE BASS! and if you listen real hard you all can probably hear it from where you are. lol

Mortician - Chainsaw Dismemberment
Mortician - Zombie Apocalypse
Mortician - Hacked Up For Barbecue
Mortician - House By The Cemetery
Iniquity (Any)
Morbid Angel (Any)
Clawfinger (Any)
Nile - Amongst The Catacombs Of Nephren-Ka
Cephalic Carnage - Exploiting Dysfunction
Avulsed - Stabwound OrgaZm
Avulsed - CYBERGORE

I'm sorry, but I haven't read anything on hear that will blow you away as far as bass goes that even COMPARES to any of these. Pop in an Iniquity CD or a Avulsed CD and you'll just Sh|t your pants..... that or skip a heart-beat. I doubt any of you will be able to find any Iniquity, and although Avulsed is hard to find to, it can be done I ordered all my Avulsed CDs from www.repulserecords.com a while back, that and the Iniquity CD, but I don't think you can get Iniquity from them anymore.

Mortician is prolly the other runner up for bad *** bass, and you can find samples of that on CD now... thought the bass you hear from there crappy samples doesn't even remotely compare to what you'll hear from an actual CD.

If you want a song from um give me a PM and I'll let you see just what I'm talkin about

BTW, if you can't tell, its mostly all Death Metal/Grind Core with the exception of Clawfinger.... so its all pretty grousome and heavy..... but hey, I like tounge in cheek horror

AIM: FiXXX3rX

Adam

P.S. - Mortician's stuff is impossible to hear vocally most of the time, but the music is always pummeling and bass laden. Some of there stuff is way to fast as far as I'm concerned though, and there new stuff stinks, but just try some and tell me it won't destroy speakers

The Crystal Method: Tweekend hits surprisingly hard.

I'm curious to try out Basement Jaxx.

Awesome, sounds like there are many people on this board that have just about as broad of a range of musical taste as I do :-).

For bass, gotta go with anything from the Hypnotize Minds record label. This includes:

Three 6 Mafia
Project Pat
Gangsta Boo
LaChat
Tear da Club Up Thugs

etc.

This stuff has the best basslines in the world. Bia Bia hits like a **** too

i just had my subs moved to my trunk (suprise birthday present ) and the first song i listened to was "feels so good" followed by "little l" both by jamiroquai. there aren't words to describe how it sounds, but i looked something like this
i also imagine "du hast" by rammstein would sound great... a perfect blend of rock and techno for all you bass loving headbangers, hehe
