need help with miss

I have a miss that happens basically all the time I need some help figuring it out. I have a basically stock distributor. Does anyone think a hi-po ignition would help my spark? The motor is in my sig and it has like 9.5 to 10.1 comp. Its an Edelbrock 750cfm. actually it happens mostly below 2500RPM

I was just thinking how i hadn't seen the ODB in a while....

Anyhow, unless something really weird has happened i wouldn't point fingers at the carb yet. Any kind of ignition problem frma bad tune-up parts to defective internals of the distributor could be causing it. Or it could even be a blown head gasket or perhaps a gnarly vacuum leak at one of the intake poirts at the head. These are not easy problems to troubleshoot via the internet so you're going to have to do some more digging and report back with more detail.

well I just put in a petronix coil and the problem is solved. They just made a customer for life!
