electric choke p/n for edel. 1406 carb.?
hello to all.
my edelbrock 1406 has its choke (electric) inoperative, its just that.
but the problem is that on the edelbrock site and on its catalog, they just mention the part number for the kit to modify to electric choke, wich is to me totally useless, to have to pay the extra parts for nothing,
the question is... do you guys know the part number of the choke itself?, if you guys have had this problem before?
thanks to all for your help.
Fernando.

sorry but that is the only part number you're gunna find. as far as i know there isn't any servicable parts available. i don't even run a choke on my 1407 edelbrock and i don't have any problems.

thanks man on the compliment......for a while it was getting really old hearing the phrase "turdgen" on camaroz28.com. she runs really good. i dunno what she'll run yet as i don't have my 9" with 4.33 gears in yet. but i would say somewhere in the 12's as it sits.
my buddy's 94z28 with 1LE package, auto, cai, and a 4.10 is running 13.4x @103mph and i spanked him on the way home from the track last week. i walked him like he was a 17sec ***** and i had no traction in 1st gear what so ever. by the beginning of next month i should have my 9", ladder bars with coil over suspention and my roll cage in then i will take it and run it down the strip. although i will definately need to borrow some slicks lmao.
