Do the two fuel hoses which run from the Y-block to each bowl (primary/secondary) need to be the same length? I assume so (which mine are currently), but I've seen fuel lines where the primary side is a lot shorter then the secondary line. Any thoughts?

Didn't you have to take any physics to get that bio/chem degree?
No it doesn't matter. you can have one line off the block 2" long and the other 200'. The only problem is any increase in length will impede the overall flow of the fuel to that half of the carb. Of course..you have to go longer than you could really fit in an engine bay if you tried before it really gets significant.

Of course I took physics
That is why I'm asking... I was just wondering if the extra length would have an influence, especially after shifts when the rpms drop from 5000 to about 2500 or so. I am thinking that the psi does change a little when you are running that pump at 5000 rpms vs. 1000 rpms. I also guess the needle/seat/float/bowl size also allowed for fluctuations in psi/fuel volume a bit...
