I'm trying to do an old school heater hose system but I've run into a few problems.
First, the heater core has 2 different size pipes! Which goes to the waterpump and which goes to the intake manifold?
Also, what size hose are you running since they are different size. I was going to run a smaller size but I don't know. Is it okay to run two different size hose? Please help before it gets too cold

Hey Jon, I can take some pix when I get home tonight to show you how I rigged my bypass. I'm fairly sure that I used 5/8" and 3/4" but I'll double check when I get home...

Correct. 5/8" from the intake manifold, 3/4" to the water pump.
Or, to put it another way, 5/8" for the hot supply, 3/4" for the return.

COOL. I've seen some pictures and they show 3/4 for both. What could be some problems with running them with 5/8" for both?
