choke on non CC Quadrajet

I have a Quadrajet from a 1969 350 Chevy. I have been told that this carb originally had a "divorced" choke, but it has been completely removed. Would it be possible to install the electric choke setup off a Computer Controlled Quadrajet onto this carb? thanks in advance.

You won't be able to mount an '80's style choke on it, but you can get an electric choke conversion kit.
