Holley makes a better performance carb, but Edelbrock makes a better mileage carb. Which is more important to you?

yah i was wondering that too.....my bro has holley and he is ALWAYS messin with that thing tryin to get it to be just right....so how much more do the holley's put out??

cuz if its just a lil then i would prolly go with the edelbrock but if it is very noticeable then i would risk the fine tuning and stuff like that

You're probably talking 5% or less increase in power. IMHO if you don't know how to tune the carb precisley, then get an edelbrock, because they are easy to tune and usually run great right out of the box... I'd say if you use an Edelbrock 650 you will see no difference between it and the Holley 650..

In my opinion, the Holley doesn't make enough of a HP difference (maybe 5-10HP) on most regular street engines to justify the cost difference from purchasing, adjustments, and mileage over the Edelbrock. If you're racing, go with the Holley, if you're a daily driver go with Edelbrock.
