swapping to carb with ac question?

I was wondering if anyone had a problem with swapping from tpi to a carb as far as the ac is concerned? I was thinking that with the tpi the computer shuts off the ac at wot and I don't know if I would have a problem with running my ac. Is there some kind of special wiring I will have to do to run my ac?

Down here in tx you gotta have the ac.

You can get a vacuum switch that wires in series with the compressor clutch. When vacuum drops below the set level, the AC cuts off.

I got one from JC Whitney back in the mid-80's. My '84 full size van has one from the factory.
