i am plannign on putting on a Edlebrock RPM Preformer Air Gap intake and a Edlebrock 600cfm carb... do i need any other mods for this to work or can i jsut bolt it on and go...

Depends upon what you currently have. If still computer controlled, you'll need a non-CC distributor as well. If TPI, you need different cables. If TH700R4, you need TV cable bracketry.
Also, the reviews on the RPM quality control are not looking good from this distance. I know one racer here who's not performing up to standards with that manifold. The preferred course seems to be Weiand, Holley, or most anybody else's products these days.
Not sure why you'd want an Edelbrock carb, either. Cheap, yes. But, you just may be getting what you pay for.
Oh, same guy that has the RPM has an Edlebrock carb...
