Carbs are so frustrating :/
Tonite my carb caught on fire again. The first carb... the Edelbrock caught fire. Now the Holley does. I think I might have flooded it because the car just wouldnt start and I was pumping it and keep it WOT quite a bit. Then I see smoke from under the hood. Flames were coming out of both fuel bowl vent tubes. I wish I still had FI.... the price you pay for power

What are you doing for fuel delivery? Are you over-pressurizing the inlets?
I've only been doing this for a little over 30 years, but I've never caught a carb on fire. Perhaps I'm not trying hard enough.
