Tonite my carb caught on fire again. The first carb... the Edelbrock caught fire. Now the Holley does. I think I might have flooded it because the car just wouldnt start and I was pumping it and keep it WOT quite a bit. Then I see smoke from under the hood. Flames were coming out of both fuel bowl vent tubes. I wish I still had FI.... the price you pay for power lol

Stay away from us! We have enough smoke in the air as it is!

What are you doing for fuel delivery? Are you over-pressurizing the inlets?

I've only been doing this for a little over 30 years, but I've never caught a carb on fire. Perhaps I'm not trying hard enough.

check your timing.. .. it may be a lil late.
pumping the gas repeatedly is generally pretty unnecesarry on a well set up motor with a holley

PK is right. Even my dominator-fed car only takes one half pump.
check your timing and valve lash.
