Have a quick question

What carb came with my 83 Z28? its a 305 not H.O.
when i purchased the car it has a aftermarket one and i dont like
it i think it makes my car slower but i think putting something closer to the original on there would make it better i dont know what do you think?

Originally it just had a cc Q-jet. most people round here swap to get rid of it..so you might wanna think about it before you swap one back on. If it's giving you problems..then address them rather than just changing it.

Also..make sure whoever did the swap changed the distributer to a non-cc one as well..or that will give you all sorts of problems.
