ok... i've got a 78 qjet.. the thing has more plugs in it that anything....(rubber hoses with screws in the end)

ok.. i have my vac advanced hooked up to the vacuum port on the pass side front....... and the PCV.. in the front.. thats it ...


i have a plug on the front of the carb driverside on the baseplate.... what should go there?

at the top of the carb on the back between the a/v flaps theres another one ..blocked off... and just below that on the back baseplate theres another blocked off......................


what are these connections for....??

i get about 9 miles a gallon..

The port on the drivers front is probably for vac. operated choke or cold start canister. On the backside bottom should be port for vac. modulator on tranny.

 

And I think the one on the backside at the top went to air valve in the stock air cleaner.

 

The one on the back topside by the air valve went to the hot air choke (source for filtered air).
