If I had TPI, I'd stick with TPI.
Since I have carb, I'm sticking with carb.
The pros of that position are that it typically costs less to work with what you've got. TPI has the advantage of good economy and driveability. Carb has the advantage of simplicity and easy modification for power.
The cons of conversion are cost and losing the benefits each system has.
The main con of TPI is the high cost of performance modifications.

That depends upon how much damage was done during the conversion. I assume you don't have the TPI parts anymore.
If emissions testing/inspection isn't a concern, then I'd probably stick with the carb. But, TPI does have its attraction.
Personally, I have a 75% complete '87 TPI setup in my garage attic. Every once in awhile, I think about sticking it on. But, since it lacks injectors, regulator, and fuel pump (and it's an '87 system and my engine is '86), I haven't really done anything about it. Both the cost of getting the rest of the parts and the hassles of switching it over have prevented any action.
Since the Camaro is my daily driver, the TPI would really be the better system (I'll probably be banned from this forum for saying that...).
