Help!

I have an 84 Z28. What is the best intake I could get for the rochester q-jet that is stock on it? Should I keep the current carb? Or should I go for a different set up? I want to get maximum power from my car. Im thinking of going for a holly carb with an edelbrock intake. What is reccomended? I appreciate Feedback, thanx alot.

I have an edelbrock performer rpm intake and an edelbrock 750 performer carb. Runs really well. Mine is an 84 too.

How much of a power upgrade did you get from the combo? Alot or not that much? Would you reccomend that I get that set up? What are you currently running at the drag-strip? Thanx, appreciate it.

That is the way the car was when I got it, so I cant really tell you how much it upgraded the power. I personally have not had it to the track yet, but the guy I bought it from said he was running mid to high 12's with it. If yours is stock it is the 305 though isnt it?? I want to take it to the track, just havn't had time, all I know is it is pretty quick. Quick enough for me to not to have been beeten in a street race so far. I know there are alot of cars out there quicker, just havn't came across any yet, but I have never turned down a race.

Yes, mine is the stock 305 H.O. engine. If you are running mid to high 12s with that combo, then I am going to look into that setup. Appreciate your response. THANX
