Not exactly sure what to do but here is the problem. I will fire up the car, it requires 2 people to do it, one has to hold the primary' valves closed as i turn it on and then let go if i push the gas all the way to 4,000 rpms and hold the gas pedal there the rpm gauge will slowly go down to 3,000 then 2,000 then either backfire and die or just die. I assume this is from the primary valves never shutting. The car won't idle, but on the good side whenever i push the gas now it doesn't feel like its boging.

what do i do to make my car idle, i have a 200 mile trip coming up with this car heh help me get home
