Carb selection
I have a 91 RS with a stock 350 (rebuilt from a 1977 Chevy Pick up truck) in it and a T5. Can anyone recommend a carb/manifold that will work well? I need a reliable, daily driver that starts easily from cold (i.e. a good cold start system) and doesn't struggle when warming up. Any suggestions? What are you guys using and any probems encountered?

Thanks in advance.

Typical choices are Holley or Edelbrock Performer square-base carb; Weiand Action + or Edelbrock Performer manifold; and a vacuum/mechanical advance distributor. For ease of cold starting, get a carb with an electric choke.
A 650 to 750 CFM carb should do the trick. I don't have any experience with the Edelbrock carbs, but have found the Holley relatively easy to tune and run.

650-750 holley 4150 or 4160 with edelbrock perfomer dual plane. its a proven combo and the carb is easy to get modification or rebuild parts for
