Can elec. fuel pumps be used on our cars???

Is it possible for me to use a holley/carter/ any aftermarket elecric fuel pump on my car??? What do I do with the return line???? I need a new pump, I figure I might as well go electric and get the Holley one that doesn't need a regulator.

I know it's not safe to cap the return line and I do not want to remove it because I may need it later.

Yes we can run electric pumps on our cars..I run the Holley black pro pump on my Z along with the Mallory 3 port return style regulator to use the return line.I highly recommend you run a return regulator and reuse your return line if you go electric.
