I have a rebuild cc qjet, and everyone says "use epoxy to fix leaking holes in the throttle body" My carb didn't have the hex nut on the secondary hanger, it had a flathead screw. my carb didn't have pop rivets in the choke housing, it had phillips screws. I'm hoping that whoever rebuilt it the first time also fixed the holes that are prone to leaking, but is there anyway I can check this with out taking my carb off, or apart? I had it off and on and apart again, three times today, and I think I'm gonna be sick from the fumes, I know my girlfriend is. any ideas?

no you have to take it off/apart to check, BUT as long as it's running ok i wouldn't worry about it. mine were leaking and as the engine got hotter it idled faster and faster, sealed them up and fixed the problem. but again if it aint broke don't fix it. later
