ok i have a holey 600....but my gas milage is crap...if i got a quadrajunk form the junkyard and beefed it up a lil bit would i get better gas milage than the holley?im in high school......i need my money

That's like asking how high is up. Yes, the QJet has definite desgn advantages over a Holley for mileage. However, if either one is not working correctly or not tuned correctly it will suck gas like frat boys on St. Patty's day.
If you can pick up a complete stock QJet in decent condition for cheap and do a quick rebuild than you might well see an increase in fuel mileage, but there are no guarantees.
