Wow, what a difference
Well, I got bored and decided to put the new Speed Demon 750 I picked up today on my car just to see what it would drive like. Well, it was like bolting on 50 hp! Absolutly no tuning, straight out of the box settings the thing ran absolutly wonderfull. My car has never pulled so hard in it's life. Think I may keep it on for a while LOL but more than likely, going to put the Holley back on to save some fuel. Now then, are the jets in a Demon the same type as in a Holley? I haven't really looked into it yet. Dang these things look nice

Aside from the downleg boosters, color, and smooooth bores that looks a lot like my Holley race carb.
Yea, I saw a good difference going from my eddie750 to a Holley. I think mainly from being a DP, annular boosters, and higher cfm (830).
I willing to bet your street avanger is more tuned for economy, where these race carbs are gas sucking ******
Yea, I think they use Holley jets...
BTW: I had to drill a provision for my power brakes. Absolutly no vacuum hookups
Was that Demon the same???

There's a port in the back that I used for my brakes that they list as for the PCV hookup. There's also 2 smaller ports on the passenger side, one timed and the other not. I think one of the biggest factors is this being a mechanical secondary carb where the street avenger is a vacuum secondary. Once I put the holley back on, I'm going to check on how far those secondaries are opening. With the demon on there, it just screams hehe.

When I switched from my Edelbrock to my Road Demon, the car pulled much harder than it used to, got about 4 more mpg, and idles and starts much smoother even in the below freezing winter.
Yeah it is more than a similar holley but I am pleased.
