Holley 650 DP Help.

I bought a 650 DP today, and have a question about the instructions.

In it, they show a picture where there is a lever for the GM Auto OD trannies.

However, near the beginning of the directions, it says "Warning: This carb is NOT designed for use with ANY auto OD tranny. If used on an auto OD severe damage will occur.

This seems contradictory to me, can anyone shed some light for me?

I looked at the sticky above, but I only have 5 mins to be online and don't have time to read every last bit.

Because if you dont adjust your TV cable properly and fry your tranny, you cant blame it on them. Just make sure the cable is set right and the tranny shifts well and dont worry about it.

Heres a link to another post with some of my pics. in it. Linkage and bracket.https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=167949
