Alright here's the case, I'm getting some sort of knocking noise ocasionally with my car. It only happens when I've parked the car and as I'm taking the key out of the ignition thats when it sounds. Has anyone else had something like this before?

 

Does it do it anytime the key is in the ignition position and the car is not running? Does your car have the stock carb?

 

well, the thing is to my knowledge the stock v8 carbs for the non H.O. are still supposed to be 4-barrel carbs. Well, I have a two barrel. I assume the guy switched them to save a little gas...who knows.

Thing is I haven't gotten the noise anymore for a while so, I don't know what the hell it is
