Is this possible?

An engine builder told me that if I use carb with a choke with certain cams that it can foul the plugs..Any truth to this..

Anybody here use a carb with no choke for a daily driver(spring to fall)?

The choke on my edelbrock 750 is not hooked up. Been like that for every since I have had it. Not bad, just in the winter time, I have to sit in it and keep it at about 2,000 rpm's for a minute or so, so it will get warmed up enough to idle and finish warming up.

A badly adjusted or non functioning choke can foul plugs on any motor...regardless of cam.

but would there be an instance when a properly adjusted choke will foul the plugs because of cam profile/characteristics?

just trying to undertand the relationship between cam profiles, idla and choke..thanks

Idle vacuum has a direct effect on choke function. A choke functions by making the venturi see idle vacuum, thus sucking out extra fuel to combat the lean cold carb problem. A really small high vacuum cam will make a motor run richer while choked...but obviously even peanut cams don't create a problem. Larger cams will decrease choke effectivness.....but that will make it lean while cold not rich.
