Vacuum hose

On the vacuum routing diagram, there is a line going from 'N' on the carb to 'Vac Sensor' I can't seem to find this line.

I see the barb for the hose to attach to on the carb but where is the vac sensor? The only thing I remember being attached to the back of the carb is the steel hard line from the brake booster area.

It's an 86 LG4 w/ cc q-jet.

The line goes from the back of the carb to the driver's side corner near the windshield. The MAP sensor looks exactly like the barometric sensor, which is located on the passenger-side on the cowl. The hose barb should be pointed straight down on the bottom of the sensor.

Thanks, I was wondering why I had one long hose leftover after I reassembled everything, looks like that's it.

ok, i found the connection by the firewall but it goes into a plastic loom, i can't find where it comes out, the only thing coming out of that wire that i can see goes to the distributor.

does it come from behind the block?

Mine goes from the sensor into the wire protector, then comes out somewhere behind the distributor and curls around the passenger side of the distributor and into the carb.
