im not to familiar with the edelbrock air valve...but i know it gives the engine a smooth transition from part to wide open throttle. now when i have the air cleaner off and i snap the throttle..it doesnt open..or even move...? is it supposed to

It doesn't open when you're in park.
Only at wide open throttle under load.... as in accelerating the car on the road.
If you can rock it back and forth easily with your finger then it's fine.

i cant fully open it with my hands...it just kinda jiggles there... what kinda problems come with them....do they ever get stuck?
