how to hook up electric choke on new carb.

I just got an edelbrock performer 600CFM carb. I had a Qjet. I looked at my wires under the hood, and i cant find one that is hot when it needs to be to power the choke, can i run new wires? if so How do i do it, and where do they go ect ect ect? THanks.

the choke wire just has to be to a ignition on power source...

so you could run a wire to the fuse box and plug into there with a spade connector...
