going to carb or no

I have been reading up about all the different combos efi, tpi, and carb. Now i will be building up a 383 or 350 but i was curious if i should stick a carb and lose the computer or just stay with the computer and keep the fuel injected?

I ran 13.3s with my 383 setup on street tires at Richmond VA with stock TPI. If you could go stealth ram then do it. Fuel injection is a little more complicated and you"ll need a chip I'm going carb because I'm setting mine up for more race and gonna git it with nitrous since I have a forged bottom end. Could luck though, strokers are cool cause no one can see it, just your taillights

Depends on how much money you have to spend vs how fast you want to go.
If you want to go fast on very little money then I have to say go with a carb. That's what I did and have been very happy since.

What kind of fuel injection do you currently have, and what kind of power numbers are you looking to achieve out of your buildup? Both have their benifits-carb being easy to use and reletively inexpensive-fuel injection being smog compliant and incredible tuning capabilities if your into computers.
