OEM carb question

Does anyone know what type of Qjet came stock on the 1982 Z28 with the 305 Vin code H? I got the car with no motor and no info. So if anyone knows if it is a CC or non CC carb I would appreciate the info. Thanks.

It was a cc q-jet. Vin Code H is an LG4 305.

Thanks for the response. Now here is another question. I am installing a 1979 350 with a single wire HEI and no smog stuff. Will I need to retain the CC Qjet or can I roll with a non CC Qjet or a holley? Emissions is no issue. Just looking for good driveability and good response. The motor is fairly stock with an upgraded cam. Thanks in advance.

How would this carb do on my 350?

750 CFM late style M4ME type Quadrajet for 305,350 engine applications. This carb has 73 jets 41K primary metering rods and CH secondary rods, it was assembled using only the highest quality components, it features: All new parts and gaskets including brand new electric choke, new pull-off, float, needle and seat , re-colored castings , brass bushings in the throttle shaft,re-finished base, yellow zinc plating on all linkages and hardware, casting plugs are sealed with epoxy to prevent leak-down into the intake manifold.Base gasket included.

Thanks again

you can't use a cc carb with a non cc dist. You can put your current cc dizzy in the new motor, or get a new non-cc carb.

A CC carb who't work with a one wire HIE.
