Bought a 750 Speed Demon
Well, I forked out the $439 for a nice new 750 Speed Demon. I was going to go with a Holley but at the very last minute decided to take a chance and get the Demon. So far I'm VERY impressed with the quality. I bolted it up and fired the motor right up and without touching anything except the throttle adjustment screw to lower the idle, it runs perfect. I haven't even touched the idle mixture screws yet and it idles better than my Holley ever did.
Haven't been able to get on it hard yet due to the snow and rain today but this thing seems flawless right out of the box for my motor ...I'm amazed. Anyone debating weither or not to buy a Holley or Demon I'd suggest buying the Demon. Its much nicer than I expected.

Glad to hear it worked out so well for you. I had the same experience when I bought my Speed Demon 850 awhile back.

Well, I found one minor issue. I'm using a 700R4 and was using the Holley-made throttle bracket. Demons carbs dont have the notch in them for the bracket to seat itself into so I just bent the tab on the bracket up and hoped it would stay straight ...It doesn't, it slowly moves over
Oh well, I got an idea on how to modify the bracket so it'll keep straight. Nothing a saw and some bending cant fix (I hope).
