I'm in the middle of rebuilding my q-jet. I was doing fine until I tried to take off the "plunger." This may sound stupid, but I can't get the little pin out that holds the fulcrum in place. The pin is so small, I have no idea how to remove it! Please Help!

This sounds like the accelerator pump....

A small pin punch is the right tool, about a 3/32" IIRC. You can get one at Sears. Sometimes you can make one out of a nail.

When you punch it, make sure it doesn't go too far, such that you can't get something behind it to push it back. I usually put a small screwdiver behind it to limit how far it goes, and then pry it back into its normal spot with the same screwdriver.

i always use a small finishing nail to tap it through only just until the acclerator pump arm pops up, dont press it through otu the other side too far or you will make it difficult to wedge it back over and through the hole again when are reassembling

good luck
