Vacuum canister

Sorry if i spelt that wrong, but neway... I'm getting a code 43 and was wondering if that canister could be the culprit. It has three hoses going to it and one of the hoses (the eft most 2) isnt hooked up to anything. Does it need to be and could this be my problem?

code 43 is the EST circuit.....nothing to do with that canister. Check if the EST connector is loose.

It's the Electronic Spark Timing.

There's a little box on the firewall, on the pass. side near the dist. That's it.

I'm sure Vader has posted a picture. Do a search under the General Tech board for EST with his user name.
