In case anyone ever searches for it, you can use your existing bracket for the Vortec Performer intake. It was pretty easy to modify to fit, and only took about 10 minutes to get it right. Basically all that needs done is to bent the back mounting location out and in as shown in the picture. You'll have to do many small bends, one at a time and test for fitment, but it will fit if bent right. Nothing was done to the front part, it cleared the runner (barely) and the cables are in alignment with the carb. Oh, where the bracket mounts (at the front coil mount hole), I had to use about a 1/4 inch spacer using 2 washers to bring the front part to clear the runner.

In the pic it looks like its not aligned. It only takes the slightest effort to align the two holes and slide the bolt in.

Bottom line: I'm glad I didnt have to butcher it to get it to work.

Well, I got the intake on the car yesterday and found that the bracket needed a little modifying to fit the valve covers on. All I had to do was grind a little bit of the lower rear corner off and repaint it, and it works great! Still easy to do.
