TPI to Carb swap - Question 13 - which wires for distributor?

I'm trying to hook up my new distributor, but I dont know what wires to use - there's 2 possible harnesses back there, but because I sold my old coil, I don't know which harness went to it...(I know - I'm an idiot)

Option 1) Black harness that looks like 2 tubes side by side - has 1 pink wire w/black stripe & 1 grey wire. (both same guage)

Option 2) Grey harness with 2 exposed male prongs inside - has 1 pink wire and 1 white wire - pink wire is heavier guage than white

Which one you figure?

Also of note: I learned this morning that EFI fuel line fittings are different than carbed fuel line fittings - so now I have to take the metal lines off, cut off the ends and get them flared to fit normal fittings...

what are you doing for ignition?
its the thick guage pink wire in option 2...that pink wire comes
from the ignition key...

your doing to much for the fuel lines..on the drivers side of the engine bay were the fuel lines go to rubber just cut the end off and shove a hose barb in there with a gasket clamp, get 6 feet of -6 braided fuel line with the aeromotive fittings...youll have to uses some hardware brass pipe fittings to make the transition from the NPT hose barb thread to the aero fuel fittings corse thread,....no leaks here.

So,

Pink wire to the 'BATT" terminal on the distributor,
White wire to the 'TACH' terminal?

I'm confused, why in the tech article on TPI to carb swap does it say there should be a harness with a pink & black wire and a black wire. The harness you're saying to use with the heavy guage pink wire has a white wire....differnt years had different colors?

the colors may be different on earlier cars, but the wire you need is the thicker pink wire...the very thin white wire is for the tach
That pink wire comes from the ignition key and goes to the coil+

The pink wire goes to the BATT terminal in the HEI distributor and the white wire goes to the tach.

This picture shows how I ran my fuel line. The engine has seen changed since like no more mechanical fan and the pass side bracket is gone but you get the picture. Oh and those gay stickers are gone....I need some new pics lol. Oh yeah and that stupid crappy fuel pressure gauge and crappy filter are gone to...ok I think I'm done.
