New fuel pump, should i swap metering rods?

i put on a 140 gph pump, wondering if i shoudl retune the carb or leave it be....

i have the edelbrock *calibration* kit....set up springs...jets....metering rods....any suggestions?

As long as the fuel level in the carb hasn't changed, then ..... the fuel level hasn't changed. So there's no need to recalibrate anything just because of that.

Now as to whether your carb is set up ideally for the rest of your combo, that's another question altogether, of course. But the fuel pump didn't change it.

yh, i dont know a WHOLE lot about carbs so i dont poke around with it much.....i just set the air/idle screws and go....tried messing with the metering rods and step up spring sbut never saw a change.....so i just swapped back to what came in it and left ti alone......someone whos good with carbs could more than likely tune it right and pull 15 hp out the car ....but.....yeah....another day....another thing to mess with
