Yet again, for the second time in one year, at the Houston Thirdgen gathering, I had the ONLY carburated Thirdgen there. Sad.

 

Being an old carb guy myself, I think it's a sad state of affairs.

 

My car was originally carbed from the factory. '85 was the first year and your drive train options were a TPI automatic, and a carbed 5-speed. Since I didn't know sh*t about TPI (and still don't..........don't care. When you can make 6,000 HP with TPI, I'll learn) and I wanted a 5-speed anyway, I ordered the carbed car.
